1 Desolder
Protect adjacent components to avoid damage, and heat the SMD with hot air to desolder it.

2 Clean
Use a desoldering tool or an iron with a solder wick to clean the pads.

3 Position
Place the components with a pick and place tool or tweezers.

Solder the pins of the two opposite angles of the component with a soldering iron.

5 Flux
Apply the flux on the SMD pins and pads to prevent oxidation during hand soldering.

6 Hand Solder
Choose the proper tip shape according to the SMD, and solder the pins with a soldering handle.
